General chairs

Dr. Eneko Iradier (Member, IEEE) received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from the University of the Basque Country in 2018 and 2021, respectively. He is part of the Radiocommunications and Signal Processing (TSR) research group at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), where he is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Languages and Systems. In 2017, and for a year and a half, he worked as a student researcher at the IK4-Ikerlan technology center, developing URLLC communications and ultra-low consumption systems. During his doctoral studies, he did an internship with the Communications Research Centre Canada, Ottawa. He is a co-author of more than 50 papers in international journals and conferences. He has been a reviewer for several renowned international journals and conferences in wireless communications and as associate editor of special issues in the IEEE Transactions on Broadcasting and MDPI Electronics. His current research interests include designing and developing new AI-based technologies for the PHY/MAC/RRM layers of wireless communication systems.

Dr. Thang X. Vu (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S. and the M.Sc., both in Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, from the VNU University of Engineering and Technology, Vietnam, in 2007 and 2009, respectively, and the Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University Paris-Sud, France, in 2014. From July 2014 to January 2016, he was a postdoctoral researcher with the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD), Singapore. Currently, he is a research scientist at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust (SnT), University of Luxembourg. His research interest includes wireless communications, with particular interests of applications of optimization and machine learning on design and analyze the multi-layer 6G networks. He has successfully acquired, as the PI and vice PI, several Luxembourg national and ESA projects with a total funding of 2.9 MEURs. He was a recipient of the SigTelCom 2019 Best Paper Award. He is also serving as an Associate Editor for the IEEE Communications Letters.

​​​​​​​Prof. Adrian Kliks (Senior Member, IEEE) received the Postdoctoral degree in technical computer science and telecommunications in February 2019. He is currently an Associate Professor with the Poznan University of Technology and has participated in numerous industrial and commissioned projects. He leads OPUS projects on V2X communication and RISes. In 2014 and 2016, he was the IEEE Membership Development/Web Visibility Chair of the EMEA Area. Since 2019, he has been the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Telecommunications and Information Technology of the Institute of Communications. A Vice Chair of the IEEE VTS Polish Chapter. He is the Co-Founder of the PUT spin-off company—Rimedo Labs.

​​​​​​​Prof. Marco Di Renzo (Fellow, IEEE) is a CNRS Research Director (Professor) and the Head of the Intelligent Physical Communications group in the Laboratory of Signals and Systems at Paris-Saclay University – CNRS and CentraleSupelec, Paris, France. He is a Fellow of the IEEE, IET, AAIA; an Ordinary Member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, an Ordinary Member of the Academia Europaea; a Highly Cited Researcher. He holds the 2023 France-Nokia Chair of Excellence in ICT. He served as the editor-in-chief of IEEE Communications Letters from 2019 to 2023 and is now on the Advisory Board. In 2024-2025, he will serve as a Voting Member of the Fellow Evaluation Standing Committee and as the Director of Journals of the IEEE Communications Society. He is also a Vice-Chair and a Rapporteur of ETSI ISG RIS.
